This is not a résumé. It is the short version of how an Egyptian student of programming and cybersecurity ended up running operations inside Italian bureaucracy — and why that made him a better engineer.

I moved to Italy with one clear intention: to keep developing what I cared about most — programming and cybersecurity — in a place where I could study seriously and build something. Like most people who arrive, I met the administrative system before anything else: permits, appointments, documents, portals.

Inside the machine
While studying, I worked deeply within the Italian administrative and legal-service environment — CAF and Patronato work. Residence permits, tax returns, family reunifications, pensions, contracts. I saw how the law reads and how it actually behaves at the counter; how customers think and where they get stuck; how staff cope with dozens of portals that do not talk to each other. Few engineers ever get this view. I lived in it for years.

Combining the two
At some point the two worlds stopped being separate. Every operational problem I met at work was a system waiting to be written. I started building: practice tracking, document flows, portal automation, customer communication — and, alongside, a social-media presence that today reaches more than 150,000 people who need exactly this kind of help.

Now
Today I am a Software Engineer and Automation Engineer, a partner in Easy2Do — one of the better-known service offices for Egyptians in Italy, with locations in Milan and Brescia — and I serve as Presidente AISOP Zonale Milano. My direction is simple: combine what I know about managing people and businesses with software engineering, automation, AI and cybersecurity, and build intelligent systems for real operations — in Italy first, and wherever the problem is interesting.

Operations first
I map how the work actually flows — people, documents, deadlines, exceptions — before proposing any technology.

Small systems, wired together
One central model, many narrow workflows. Easier to maintain, easier to measure, easier to extend.

AI with a human in the loop
AI reads and proposes; code validates; a person approves what matters. Every automated action is logged and reversible.

Secure by construction
Attack-surface thinking during design, controls enforced where the data lives, and honest language about what a system can and cannot do.
